About Fynal
Fynal is a daily estimation game. Every day you get three Fermi questions nobody knows the exact answer to, and you estimate them with just your head and a calculator.
Who makes Fynal
Fynal is an independent project from the Czech Republic. It does not belong to any big company or publisher. The game is free on the web at fynal.eu and on iPhone, and you can play without signing up. It grew out of the joy of estimating: questions like how much a blue whale weighs or how many litres of water fit in a pool, which you can reach by sound reasoning.
How the questions are made
Before a question goes out, we look it up in sources and check its answer. After you send your guess, you see the correct number, an explanation with the calculation and how other players guessed. If you find a mistake, tap Report a mistake. We review every report and fix the question if needed.
Why we make it
Estimating is a skill you can train. It helps when reading the news, at work and in everyday decisions where nobody has the exact number. Fynal turns it into a short daily habit of a few minutes that you can share with friends or play against them in a room.
